Delete your account in the app

1. Open the Kundli Match app and sign in.
2. Tap your photo at the top right, then choose View Profile.
3. Tap the three dots at the top right of the Profile screen.
4. Choose Delete account, read the message, type DELETE and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately. You are signed out and your account cannot be recovered.

Only want a break? Deactivate instead

The same menu has Deactivate account. Your profile is hidden from everyone and you are signed out, but nothing is deleted. Whenever you like, sign in with Google again and choose Reactivate, and your account comes back exactly as it was.

What is deleted

When you delete your account we permanently remove:

• your profile: name, email address, gender, year of birth, bio, occupation and photo (including the stored photo files);
• your birth details and the kundli and compatibility results calculated from them;
• your Facebook and Instagram links;
• your likes, super likes, passes, matches, waves and social-link requests and answers;
• your records of the optional videos you watched and their rewards;
• your blocks, and the reports other people have sent about you;
• your notification settings, push tokens and any notifications waiting to be sent;
• your sign-in sessions on every device.

Other people will no longer see you, and your matches with them disappear.

What may remain for a short time

• Backups. Server backups are rotated on a schedule, so a copy of your data can remain in a backup for about two weeks before it is gone.
• Reports you sent. A report you made about someone else is kept, without your name or email, so that we can still act on it. It is no longer linked to your account.
• A ban, if there is one. If we have banned you for breaking our rules, your email address and Google account identifier stay on our ban list, even after you delete the account, so that a banned account cannot simply be created again. If you think a ban is a mistake, email [email protected].
• Records the law requires. Where the law requires it, we may keep the minimum necessary information.
• Google. Signing in with Google gave us your name, email and picture. Deleting your account here does not delete your Google account. You can also remove Kundli Match's access at myaccount.google.com/connections.

Can't open the app?

If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my Kundli Match account. We may ask you to confirm it is you, and we will delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner. You can also call +977 9702289595.
