Child safety standards
Kundli Match is a dating and matchmaking app for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards and what we do when we find or are told about anything that breaks them.
Our standards
- Adults only. Nobody under 18 may use Kundli Match. Every person confirms they are 18 or over when they sign up, and their date of birth is part of their profile.
- No sexual content involving minors, ever. Any content, message or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers a child is forbidden — including sexual images of minors, requests for them, and attempts to contact or meet a minor.
- No explicit photos at all. Nudity and sexually explicit photos are not allowed on profiles. Photos can be checked automatically for explicit content, and our team reviews flagged photos.
- Breaking these rules leads to immediate removal of the content and a permanent ban of the account, and we report it to the authorities (below).
These standards are part of our Terms & Conditions, which everyone accepts before using the app.
How to report
In the app
- On any profile, tap the flag icon; in a chat, tap ⋯ → Report.
- Choose Underage (for someone who may be under 18) or the reason that fits best, and add a note if you can.
- A report made from a chat includes the recent messages with that person, so we can see what happened.
Without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject Child safety report, or call +977 9702289595. Tell us the person’s name as shown in the app and what you saw. You don’t need an account to report.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
What we do
- Reports about child safety are reviewed first, ahead of every other report.
- Content that may be CSAM is removed immediately and the account is suspended while we review it.
- Accounts that break these standards are permanently banned; their email and Google account are kept on our ban list so they cannot simply sign up again.
- Where we have actual knowledge of CSAM or of a child at risk, we preserve the relevant information and report it to the appropriate authorities — including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, and the police in the country concerned (for example the Nepal Police Cyber Bureau, or India’s national cybercrime portal, cybercrime.gov.in) — as the law requires.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests made through proper legal channels.
